The Trade Desk (TTD) crushed earnings but like many other high fliers, the stock did not hold up well off of the report... until today. A bullish pattern has collided with the technicals, right now.Remember that the technical conditions must hold through the end of the day for a trigger.

We will examine the outcome of getting long an at the money call option that is closest to 45-days from expiration if and only if the following technicals are satisfied.If the stock price fails the technical requirement, it's fine, we just put a pin in it and check later. Even better, we can set an intra day alert in Trade Machine that will email and/or text you when both requirements are met.
RISK MANAGEMENT
We can add another layer of risk management to the back-test by instituting and 40% stop loss and a 40% limit gain. Here is that setting:In English, at the close of each trading day we check to see if the long option is either up or down 40% relative to the open price. If it was, the trade was closed.
